💬 Chat Application Integration
Quickly import platform configurations into various desktop and web AI client applications.
The platform supports quickly importing or configuring API keys and endpoints into various mainstream AI chat clients for convenient testing and frequent daily use.
Client Integration Methods
There are typically three ways to integrate third-party AI clients:
- One-Click Import via Chat Presets
- One-Click Launch & Import via API Key
- Manual Configuration Parameter Copying
Prerequisites
- Log in to the console, navigate to the "API Keys" management page, and create a dedicated key.
- Ensure the key is enabled, has sufficient quota, and is not restricted by model whitelists or IP restrictions.
For detailed instructions on creating and managing API keys, please refer to the API Keys page.
Method 1: One-Click Import via Chat Presets
- Click "Chat" in the left sidebar to expand the list of pre-configured mainstream chat applications.
- Click the target chat client (such as Cherry Studio, NextChat, AQBot, etc.).
- The browser will prompt to launch the corresponding locally installed client application.
- The system will automatically inject the Base URL and credential parameters into the client for out-of-the-box readiness.
Method 2: One-Click Launch & Import via API Key
- Go to the "API Keys" page in the left sidebar.
- In the action menu on the right side of the target key, click "..." → "Chat" → select the target application.
- The browser will launch the local client directly with the current key, eliminating the tedious manual copy-and-paste steps.
Method 3: Manual Configuration for Generic Applications
For applications without built-in one-click protocols, you can connect via general manual configuration:
| Configuration Item | Description | Source |
|---|---|---|
| API Base URL | Enter https://api.openrely.ai/v1 | Platform home page or console overview |
| API Key | Enter the sk- formatted key issued by the platform | API Keys |
| Model Name | Enter the standard Model ID (e.g., gpt, claude) | Model Plaza |
General Configuration Steps
- Open "Settings" or "Providers" in the third-party AI client.
- Select "OpenAI" or "Custom OpenAI-Compatible API".
- Fill in the Base URL and API Key mentioned above.
- Click to fetch the model list or save the configuration to start chatting.

FAQ and Troubleshooting
- Desktop client does not launch upon clicking: Please ensure that the desktop client is pre-installed locally and has been run at least once so that the operating system can successfully register the corresponding URL scheme protocol.
- Prompt indicates no available keys: Please create a key on the "API Keys" page first, and confirm that your account balance or subscription is not overdue.
- Request returns 401 Unauthorized: Check whether the API Key entered in the client contains extra spaces, or if the key has been disabled or deleted.
- Request returns 404 Model Not Found: Confirm that the requested model name matches the supported Model ID in the platform's Model Plaza, and ensure that the key's restriction settings have not excluded this model.
